Today we rode the bullet train from Kyoto to Hiroshima to visit Miyajima Island and the Peace Memorial in downtown Hiroshima. On the train ride, we all made paper origami cranes to leave at the Peace Memorial. Ajon was a master craftsman but the older lady in the upper left of the photo was even better. She lept to our aid - perhaps tired of watching us making the wrong folds. She didn't speak a word of english but it hardly mattered.Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Looks more like Ajon is schooling the kids on the "Crane" karate defense ala Mr. Miyagi.
